Scarlet Tiger Moth?
Could someone confirm that this little beauty found by my husband this afternoon as he was mowing is scarlet tiger moth please? Neither of us have seen one before.

It's a lovely moth and I haven't seen one myself - it looks like a Garden Tiger to me.

I've just Googled garden tiger moth and I would say you're right. I hadn't noticed how dark the wings are on a scarlet tiger whereas this was definitely brown.
