| | | More moths .... Some of these I think I've IDed ok, but confirmation would be great, and an ID for 2. if possible please.
1. Lesser Common Rustic? Fore-wing approx 13mm
2. Not a great photo as the flash reflection replaced colour detail and it didn't stay long enough for another shot with measurement, smallish moth - I'd wondered Dun Bar?
3. Bramble Shoot Moth? Fore-wing approx 10mm
4. Bordered Beauty? Not a hope of it staying put to measure! |

| | | Re: More moths .... Certainly a Bordered Beauty (very nice) and would seem to be a Bramble Shoot Moth from the Chris Manley book I am looking at (although the colours are different but will put that down to the difference in light).
I have trapped many Dun-bars and even though some are very worn I haven't seen one as crappy as that! You might be right on that one though (and they are around at the moment).
My guess would be Common Rustic on account of the wave at the bottom of the wing.
But what do I know?!
