| | | Re: Common Footman ??? I think I'd go for Scarce Footman. It's a bit tricky from this angle but it looks like the wings are wrapped around the body, and the yellow border remains thick towards the wing tip, which would point towards this species.

Guy | You may well be right Guy; I was debating which of the two + opted for Common. Not always so easy from a photo when you can only see it from one angle. |
