You are in the right area, Keith,it looks like a Small Phoenix.

just had a look in a book is it small tho? or ordinary? doesnt quite have the same markings for a small?

Hi Keith

You don't seem to be too convinced.
Right...this is a variation of the Small Phoenix in which the central bar is unbroken without those "island "markings in it,I guess it is that that is throwing you?
I've circled a couple of other differences for you to look at as well.If you look at the notch shape in the yellow circle it is much more "V" shaped in the Small Phoenix ,as opposed to a longer more plough shaped notch in the Phoenix.Also if you have a look at the area in the orange circle,you will see that there isn't a notch that goes up along the side of the body ,which the Phoenix has.On the Small Phoenix this is roughly level.

Another difference is that the Phoenix rests with its antennae pointing back along its body.
