| | | Rather drab moth for ID please Walesby Forest, Notts 15 July 2010
Found this moth in a mixed woodland ride.
I have spent several days trawling through the 158 pages in the moth Gallery looking for something similar, but could only come up with the July Belle, which does not quite fit the bill.
It is a rather drab, insignificant moth, but I would like to give it a name. Can anyone guide my in the right direction, please.
Les

| | | Re: Rather drab moth for ID please Shame yours is rather drab - I had one in my trap last weekend which had subtle shades of pinkish red and I thought it was rather lovely! |

There is a green form prasinaria which is quite scarce but looks more striking then the standard form. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
