Is there a web site where you can select distinguishing features and narrow down the list of possible moths? A sort of moth identity-kit? |

I'm afraid I don't know of a site like that,but it would be great if there was. UK Moths has some excellent photos,but it could mean trawling through lots and lots of photos to find your I.D,if you don't know which family your moth belongs to.

I have never used it before but it might be worth having a play around with! |

Worked great for "+Black +White", straight to the Black Arches
Will definitely give it a try next time.
Edit: And "+green +black" finds the Merveille du Jour which found me a few months back
