Is it being parasitised?

Spotted this what i believe is a peppered moth with a flesh fly in close attendance.

I wondered if it was parasitising the moth ?

I have looked on the web and it appears that these flies do parasitise insects but it made no mention of moths.

Can anyone please shed some light on this subject ?

Is there a photo? are you sure it wasnt a tachinid? Although they usually target larvae.

No. They fly is a calliphorid which are not parasitoids of moths. Possibly just fooled by the moths camouflage.
