hawks and more hawks
From last nights trap, 2 Privet hawks 1 Poplar hawk and there were 2 Elephant hawks but one didn't wait for the photo call !! Richard.

At Bookham Common we had 2 Poplar + 4 Elephants amongst a good mothing haul.

Nice photo, you seem to have got them to all behave and sit next to each other for a pic! Moths are always good photo subjects I find! Last week we caught two Privet's and a Poplar too.

Thanks metalmoth, I find the Hawks will normally sit on your hand and generally behave, pity some of the other moths are not so obliging!!! Richard.
