Which Kitten?
I'd initially identified this one as Sallow Kitten, but now I'm not sure that it isn't Alder Kitten ...... help appreciated!

Hi Jenny,
I'd say Sallow too - but its new to me, so pinch of salt time - I was just so impressed by a cracking shot of a beautiful moth!
Dont know if you have this as a site so heres a link.

The central band is more constricted on Alder it appears.

Thanks to both of you - I've just got a copy of Chris Manley's 'British Moths and Butterflies' so I'm checking my provisional IDs.

Its a beautiful book!
