Moth ID please - stumped at the first try
Hi all.

After seeing so many excellent blogs detailing the moths that people are catching in their traps I thought I would give things a go myself. The two photos here are actually taken on the wall behind my PC but I am completely stumped when it comes to identifying them. I think the first one is a pug but I'm afraid that's as far as I got.






Could someone help me out please to get me started.

I find some of these pugs tricky too, so will leave that to somebody else.

The second looks like a Straw Dot.
