Scarlet Tiger Moths
Edit - Excuse the misleading title but I don't think I can edit it now. These are of course Scarlet tiger moths - my bad!

Just thought I'd share a few pictures with you guys.
Found these two Scarlet tiger moths mating this evening on the hose reel. I was surprised to see them in such a conspicuous spot at first but given their colouration are they distasteful to predators then?

Lucky you! By the way they aren't Garden Tigers but Scarlet Tigers!
