| | | Moth for I.D. please! I found this guy hidden in a corner of one of our bedrooms. Wingspan was exactly 2cm. Don't know whether he's a Micro or a Macro - How do you differentiate?
Help with an i.d. would be greatly appreciated.

In the hand (or rather, on the hand) it looked closest to the Common Pug (E.vulgata).
Don't know whether I may have made i.d. more difficult by using flash?
I'm sure your children would disagree with your sentiment.
