Help with moth ID please (Northumberland)
Found by the lakes at Branton, Northumberland. The markings look like common carpet but the colouring seems too pale (more like sandy carpet?). Can someone confirm ID please.

Have a look at the obscurata form of Common Carpet. That's the nearest I can get to it.
