Please identify - so many dull brown moths

That's a Rustic Shoulder-knot - one of the distinguishing features is the dark streak at the base of the forewing, however your photo doesn't show it.

Thanks very much - I am recording all the moths in my garden in Cambridgeshire (Moths in a Cambridgeshire Garden) so there may be another post or two when I can't identify them!

I'm trying to identify all the moths in my garden too - and often encounter ones that have me confused . Especially the pugs!
