| | | Small Elephant Hawkmoth Eggs Does anyone know exactly how long it takes Small Elephant Hawkmoth eggs to hatch once they have been laid, as I have 2 green eggs that a SEHM female laid in a pot after being caught in a moth trap. Is there any way to tell by looking at them if they are fertile?
Thanks
(Also, I know it's off-topic but is it normal for common swift moth eggs to be laid cream coloured and turn black the next day????) |

| | | Re: Small Elephant Hawkmoth Eggs Just had a look at them this morning under the microscope, and they seem to have thin wiggly strands running between them that werent there before. Are they going mouldy? Or is this normal...... |
