Your best bet would be to get in touch with a local bug hunting group (maybe via Amat. Ent. Soc. etc.?) (you wont need any help with the hunting bit though!!)

which place in India are you planning to visit? prior permission from the ministry is required for the collection and export of the biomaterial.

we are small entomology group studying on moth pheromone.

You might find some on Flickr, there's a 'Moths of India' section where some have given an ID.

I've found one similar to one of your pics, but bear in mind there may be others very similar. It might give you a lead though, nearly 3,000 pics to look at!

There is a book online 'A catalogue of the moths of India' which may be of some help too, the pages can be magnified and are readable.

I couldn't resist the urge to look further!

#9 looks like Creatonotos gangis, although I can't see if the dark line near the tip is broken on yours.
