Dark Fruit Tree Tortrix is listed as June-August flight time,did you catch it recently.

| | | Re: id help and confirmation lease thanks pete caught the moth on the 19 sept just taken me this long to get around to id, i thought it was a dark fruit-tree tortrix going by the picture in the british moths and butterflies photo guide and in that book the one you suggested has no discernable patern however i shall look at some more ref pics to make sure

| | | Re: id help and confirmation lease Thanks for the pointer Nutmeg gone with the Feathered Ranunculus as it has feathered antennae whereas the Large Ranunculas does not according to my book (The Concise Guide), jury still out on the Tortrix though
