| | | Unidentified Moth Hi all
This moth flew in earlier today but I've no idea of it's ID. I just loved the 'feathered' wings.
Any help is much appreciated

| | | Re: Unidentified Moth That'll be the Many-plumed moth Alucita hexadactyla. Its very common on honeysucle (larval food plant) and comes regularly to light.

| | | Re: Unidentified Moth Evening John,
I agree with Wye, it's also called the Twenty-plume Moth. I saw my first this year after hoping for a while! A great shot.
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Unidentified Moth Thanks Neil and Jason
It was only on close inspection I realised how beautiful this moth was. I just had to have a photograph, even if it did mean a precarious balancing act
