Its a L-album Wainscot (Mythimna l-album).

Whereabouts did you find it? These are quite scarce moths so I agree with Agrotis, a good find!

I found it in my bathroom actually. I did let it outside again. UKMoths says its range is from Cornwall eastwards to Kent. I live in the north of Essex. It is a very pretty little thing

I just contacted them. I also see on their website that there have been a couple of recordings of it in Essex around my area.

Yes North Essex is a hot-spot for L-album, its in the other areas of Essex where it is virtually unheard of, although they have been popping up in odd places recently.
