Moth for ID please

I came across these photos I took about a month ago , now I thought it was a Silver Y,but it looks exactly the same as a photo in the Gallery of an Antler Moth, so now I'm more confused than usual,if that's possible. Barbara

I'd say it's an Antler Moth.

Yes, I think you're right ,I don't know why I got confused there.
I've been trying to tidy up all my Moth and Butterfly photos and I think I must be getting a bit tired.Sounds like a good excuse and I'm sticking to it.

It is indeed an Antler Moth.

I have not seen one in ages!

Check any Ragwort flowerheads you see, during daylight or after dark. Antler moths and Ear moths seem to love them, I've probably found more Antlers on Ragwort this year than I've trapped.
