| | | Pet moth has hatched, but what is it? The green caterpillar found sticking rose leaves together has hatched from its chrysalis, but I am non the wiser as to what species it is. Can anybody help? |

| | | Re: Pet moth has hatched, but what is it? It's a Light Brown Apple Moth, Epiphyas postvittana. It's a regular species in my garden, and one I have a soft spot for - I'd be quite pleased to have raised one of these! It's originally a pest species of Australian orchards, and was accidentally imported into the UK around 1930-40. |

Thanks again! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
