Hummimgbird Hawk moth
I saw a hummingbird hawk moth on my trachelospermum jasminoides late this afternoon in the Chilterns. Are these now resident in the UK or are they visitors?

They are basically migrants, but some do manage to overwinter in mild areas some winters.
