Taken at light trap 8th August at Malham Tarn - another worn and not very clearly marked moth. The best I could do was Common Marbled Carpet, but I have no great confidence in my ID of this one. Any other ideas?

It's worn, but something about it suggests July Highflyer to me... but it's just a suggestion... |

Thanks Nutmeg and Jenny - I did wonder about July Highflyer but it seemed a very different colour and pattern to the others I have been catching recently. I guess it is just a very variable species though.
