id smiley moth please
Hello,

I'm sure this moth with the smiley markings is something common - can anyone tell me?

A lot of them were flitting about in the twilight on the downs above Sandown in an area dominated by Fleabane, thistles, Agrimony and other rough grassland plants.

Agapeta hamana - quite common (it eats thistle)

It's all over the place at the moment here at Bedfont Lakes. Can't say I 've noticed the face before though
Keep an eye out for it's cousin Agapeta zoegana. Much prettier!
