Moth ID from Staffordshire.
Hi all.
Any help on a ID of this moth would be appreciated.
Took it just tonight, one of the advantages of digital photography, you can see the results straight away.
Small white markings on wings.
Pictures taken in Cannock Staffordshire, the moth was placed on the background, found moth on my front door...

It's a Silver Y, Autographa gamma.

Looks like a Silver y moth Autographa gamma, look out for more of these as they can migrate in large number in some years.
