Orange-tailed Clearwings, Synanthedon andrenaeformis are flying at the moment in Northants - had two so far at the lure in the garden. |

Excellent well done where exactly are you? I have some lures bought this year but been too busy to use them they are in the freezer.

Yellow-legged Clearwing Synanthedon vespiformis. I saw them last year about this time at Whisby near Lincoln. They breed in old oak stumps.
