Buff Footman Eilema depressa f. plumbia?

Hi,

This is differnet to others I have had, with a broad yellow fringe at the bottom. The only one I have found is the Buff Footman which has that, and I found there is a dark form 'plumbia' so it seems to fit!

Does anyone agree or otherwise? From what I have read it would seem the Buff Footman is locally common in southern England, Wales and south-west Ireland.

Thanks pete, I didn't know the Common Footman had yellow tassles on the wing bottoms. I haven't seen any pics with this anyway!

The description on UKmoths goes:

The forewings are greenish-grey, with a leading yellow stripe, tapering to a point at the tip.

I don't see that tapering to a point at the tip either, the yellow edging goes to the bottom.
