I can't find which Tortrix this is, taken in the very early hours of February 19th.
Note the white eye shapes on the wings, there looks to be a little more white just above those.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

| | | Re: February Tortrix I think it's possibly Acleris ferrugana or A. notana. The time of year would be right as they overwinter as adults and I've often seen them in my traps on warm winter or early spring mornings.
I think a positive ID on these two is best left to genitalia examination. |

Acleris ferrugana should have some small black scales about a quarter way from the head, not sure if I can see those but I can see some small marks. Looking at A. notana it also has some marks about quarter way!
