my moth has arrived
ok, so last year i found some caterpillars, Elephant Hawk moth ones, and yesterday one came out but its wings did not fill even though I made sure it was hanging to let it get on with it. I think it came out too late in the year and was too dry. Is there anyway I can help it? thanks

We had the same thing happen about three weeks ago - one hatched and the wings didn't expand properly. It's well possible that it could have been too dry.

What substrate was the pupa in?

It was in soft soil/compost
