| | | Re: Good Night Last Night On Monday night this week I got the same number of moths in my garden trap from a 15W actinic as I did from 2 (not one but 2!) traps both with 125W lamps at work! Something wrong going on there! Maybe my garden is just really, really good! |

125 MV bulb in a Robinson trap. I have also done some trapping at Mayford Pond in the past. Cracking spot if you have a silent running generator, which I unfortunately no longer have access to.
Cheers,
Adam

Gotta think about the neighbours though! | You would draw in more moths and all those other inverts that come in with an MV. I believe 50m is the distance from which an MV can bring stuff in from, though I would suspect given a clear sight line probably further. I run it all night in my back garden, which is overlooked, regularly(for the past 4 years) and I have not had a single complaint from anyone. Just hope your neighbours are as understanding as mine.
Cheers,
Adam
