| | | Narrow-bordered bee hawk-moth! Hello everyone, I am very excited just now. I have just spotted what I believe to be a Narrow-bordered Bee Hawk-moth feeding on the honeysuckle on the arch in my garden!!! I'm well chuffed this is the first live hawk-moth I have seen and it had a truly lively character, flitting from flower to flower very fast little mover it was too!
P.S. I live in Carnoustie on the east coast of Scotland. Is it unusual to find this moth in this area?
