Hi, Not a very good picture, but I'm more interested in it's id. It was a very breezy day and I was trying to keep it in frame and in some sort of focus. It looked very delicate and seemed to be clinging on for dear life. I can't even tell what way around I have it. If front(ish) on, then has it lost an eye. Thanks for help.

Could it be a white plume moth Pterophorus pentadactyla or something similar?

Jane | It's certainly a 'Plume Moth' but the actual species is debatable without additional pictures.

As white as it seems, there is a fair degree of brown, too. Try Emmelina monodactyla?

White Plume moths are very white. Here's one I photographed; 
As Jason says, there is a degree of 'tan' to this one. |

Hi, thanks all. Well looking up these two possibilities in my field guide, it looks like Emmelina monodactyla. It was certainly not white, more pale beige, and its wings were more like this species too. Thanks!

Looks to me like Amblyptilia acanthadactyla, but it is early!

Funnily enough I think I saw your one in my garden last night. I often go out with a torch and at 12am I saw this. 
ADAM: If it IS Amblyptilia acanthadactyla, then it could be from the July generation, given it's a little worn? Though I did see it last year... 
...and it seemed as if the legs were dotted white and lightly brown...
