It looks a bit like a Lunar Underwing Omphaloscelis lunosa, one of the species' lighter variations. Did you use flash?

Could also be a Lesser Yellow Underwing. The Lunar normally has a black mark on the leading edge of the forewing. I am not an expert here though - just an interested hack!

It's either Mottled rustic (white underwing) or The uncertain (brown underwing).

It is NOT Lesser yellow underwing or Lunar underwing. Sorry guys!

It wasn't a lesser yellow underwing as it was too small and I see them regularly. The Uncertain looks like a good match though.

The uncertain is a great name - almost could have named that one myself!
