Thought I would let you know that 'Mothra', as it became known, died two days after hatching

We were all upset so gave him/her a burial. Glad we got some nice pics so will post them

This experience has made me so curious about moths. I have always thought they were interesting creatures. When I worked in a chippy near where we live there was an enormous moth flew in and got caught in one of those !!!!ing electric zappers

I hate those bloody things. I did manage to get it out but it had slightly burnt wings. Lucky though... so took it home and in a couple of hours, when over the shock, it flew off into the night

I'm now looking for it on the web. I look forward to finding out so much more about moths etc.
