My moth trap attracted these moths last night. I'm a beginner at this, but I've had a go at identifying some of the moths. I'd be grateful for help in getting them right..

1. Cinnabar Moth



2. Treble bar?



3. Buff Ermine (male)?





4.Red carpet or wood carpet?



5. Large yellow underwing moth?



6. No idea

Thanks for the ID. Can you tell me how you got the silver-ground? In my copy of Waring and Townsend my moth looks too dark for silver-ground?

Hello, as with a lot of moths they can be variable or worn, if you have a copy of Collins Complete British Insects you will see its an exact match. Steve
