I am so happy today.
I found Man orchids that i've never seen before.
But to top that,i found a Small Elephant Hawk-Moth that i've been wanting to see ever since i saw it in a moth book.
Isn't it great when things just work out perfect & you end up with some groovy photos.

| Hello tomarg06,when i first saw this moth in a book i couldn't believe my eyes.It's not often you get something so shockingly pink.
I'm lucky enough to have about 50 photos to remember my day,lol.

I had some nice ones of a Hummingbird Hawk Moth but the PC crashed and I lost them all  |

I've never SEEN any of the Hawk moths yet, let alone got a pic of one ....maybe I should get out at night more ....

| Hello Stewy,the pink clour is certainly striking.That's gutting that you lost your photos.I've seen a Hummingbird Hawk Moth but never been able to get any properly focused photos.I really hope you back your photos up now.That's one of my dreads that my pc crashes & i lose everything.That's why i back up on multiple cd's everything,lol.

| Hello Mick,you should def have a go at butterfly photography.You have to be pretty patient & sneak up on them slowly.But the rewards are worth it.I find butterflies to be very beautiful & photographic subjects.
