| | | Suspected Lunar Underwing Moth Had this pic a while and wanted to ensure I'd got the right ID. Caught the moth early September this year using a light trap. Is it a Lunar Underwing? |

| | | Re: Suspected Lunar Underwing Moth Hello Lag,
I recorded 133 Lunars in my garden between 12th September and 29th October, with peak numbers (102) occuring during the first two weeks of October. They fell right off after this time and I recorded only three after the 15th.
They're lovely moths that come in a variety of shades.
Best wishes,
Steve. |

| | | Re: Suspected Lunar Underwing Moth Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'm hoping to set up the light trap once again when it gets warmer. I left it a bit late this year, but any moths that I do find will certainly find their pictures posted on the site.
Thanks again, Craig. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
