2 unidentified micro moths

Hi All,

I haven't been able to pin a name on a couple of micro moths that have visited the trap in the past couple of days. Does anyone know what they are?

1. I thought this might belong to the Yponomeutidae at first, but couldn't find a match.



2. I wondered if this was some kind of Tortrix, but can't get any closer.

Always tricky but my initial thoughts:

First is a Caloptilia sp (Gracillariidae), perhaps C. elongella. The second looks rather like Mompha divisella. Both these overwinter as adults so could be on the wing now.

Good suggestions! The Mompha looks like a worn specimen compared to the one on UK Moths.

I spent ages looking on UK Moths before you posted. It's a minefield - lucky I've got my friends on WAB to fall back on!
