| | Yet another micro moth... Hi again,
I have another tiny micro for someone to cast their expert gaze over. Any suggestions as to which species it is...? It is a sandy / lemony colour and 8-9mm in length if that helps. Roll on the first publication of Collins Complete Microepidoptera!
With thanks,
Steven. |

Where did you learn so much about micro moths? I'm envious - but learning very slowly!

| | | Re: Yet another micro moth... I've been mothing for about 5 years and whenever I catch a moth I can't ID I troll through websites like UKMoths until I find it. Sites like this one, BirdForums and the UKMoths and UKMicromoths e-groups are also invaluable. Keep on at it and you'll soon be able to identify most of the stuff you catch.

The new name is Blastobasis lacticolella. The other change is from Blastobasis lignea to Blastobasis adustella.
