Hi again David,
Funnily enough, the Dotted Border (on the wing Feb - April) and the Mottled Umber (Oct - Jan) are next to each other in Waring! The Mottled Umber is incredibly varied, isn't it?
Regarding the
Carcina quercana : it's the second time I've posted this species - it caught me out last month and I think it was you who ID'd it for me then!
I'd better have an early night!
Thanks again for your help.
Steve.
