Hi All,
Here are four of the moths that visited my Skinner last night. I've identified them, but would appreciate a second opinion, if anyone cares to offer one...!
1. Double-striped Pug (Gymnoscelis rufifasciata):
2. Dusky Thorn (Ennomos fuscantaria):
3. L-album Wainscot (Mythimna l-album) - I'm especially keen to get this one right because it's on the b-list of nationally scarce species (Nb):
4. Feathered Brindle (Aporophyla australis pascuaea) - another Nb species, so I'm just as keen to get a correct id:
I took the photographs just before dawn, so the light was poor and, hence, picture quality suffered. I hope the colours come across ok.
With thanks,
Steven.
