How are you? Hoping things are good don't seem to see you about the boards as much (but then maybe I am not on them myself as much!!) Things are getting proper hectic over here as the wedding approaches! The trees are already turning though so hopfully we will get plenty of colour at Westonbirt Arboretum when we have the wedding (which was always the hope really) - just hope it doesn't rain!!

I am also a little apprehensive about my big move of house/life/job up to Wittering though I'm sure it will be fine - its actually a comfort to know that Steve is nearbyish to show me the good places to go (and maybe introduce me to people as its hard to kick start a social life in a new area without the natural ice breakers of kids of dogs !!).

Phew!! Still if we have a wintery/autumn WAB meet at Minsmere its much easier for me to go because I'll be so much closer!

I have only seen 3 this year but just took some photographs of these lil bl**dy eggs thats next to the caterpillars tho. This worries me so much about these and I took 7 of the sweet catties away from these because I am so seriously worried about them could someone get in touch with me asap on what to do??

Have just joined buglife!! Think its a disgrace what has happened at Thurrock! The Thames gateway has not a lot going for it in my opinion.

Hi Jules,

Thanks for the comments on the sika hind pic much appreciated, it was strange but we watched at least 20 run across this patch in groups of 4 or 5, once they had passed this area they were fine again. Maybe it had a smell of Fox on it.
