PS Had a quick play this morning in Photoshop and managed a copy of the original which looks better for it! I might have to take back what I said about Photoshop after all!! Time presses this morning - but I will tidy the original up - or maybe begin right from scratch with the unaltered one and see if I can't improve it - thanks Wayne - you're a pal!!
Yes it does meet with my approval - but now tell - what did you do as I did a lot of work (sev times over actually!) in PSP and finally tried Neat Image but it didn't seem to work - partly I think cos this image is so close to pixilated - its right at the very edge of rescue but certainly looks better for whatever you've done?
Ah bless - you are a sweetie for the nice things said and the offer to 'invade the pitch'!! I wish we were nearer - I got confused at first and was looking for it on the Lleyn Peninsula - then I realised its right down beyond Rhyader (Girgrin) and then some ...... ah well - some day perhaps! As for the images - now lots of folks are arming themselves with better cameras and bigger lenses you're all overtaking me and I'm handing the batten over - with pleasure - I do love to see folks 'getting somewhere' cos I know how that feels - I spent so long wringing the best out of small cameras and the pleasure from this 500 lens has been as I imagined it would be - my wish would be to spend more time with it in my hands ............
Pauline you and your hubby are welcome to invade my patch anytime you like there's always room at the Wetlands for you.
And thank you for saying those nice things about my photo's and myself I can only reciprocate your views by saying how much your images have inspired me to try and improve my own standards and try and emulate you, when I see your name under a photo I know its going to be a Quality image.
Thanks Wayne - I've got my fingers crossed. I must admit this morning I don't feel as tho there has been a problem - my back feels sturdy and fine - but I'm well aware that one false move and I could be back at sq one........ and I haven't hefted my pack or camera for a while - it worries more than anything that I won't be able to carry all my stuff .... spare donkey anyone? Hehehehe
Sorry to hear about your back problems Pauline, I really hope the worse is over for you, as a fellow sufferer I can sympathize, although I'm with your husband as far as needles are concerned I just don't like them.
Anyway I hope everything goes allright and you have a wonderful holiday, look forward to seeing your photo's here on your return.
Best wishes.
