Dear Lensman i've posted this on WAB but remembered you gave me advice before on photography. Wondered if you had any comments please.

Any one out there using or had experiance with: Canon EF 70-300 f4.5-5.6 DO IS USM

I have Canon 40D, looking at lenses of this nature to get closer pictures, any advice welcome please.

Thanks Wayne - I've got my fingers crossed. I must admit this morning I don't feel as tho there has been a problem - my back feels sturdy and fine - but I'm well aware that one false move and I could be back at sq one........ and I haven't hefted my pack or camera for a while - it worries more than anything that I won't be able to carry all my stuff .... spare donkey anyone? Hehehehe

Thanks for the welcome - when my images of dragonflies come out half as well as yours I shall let you see them!!!! Experiencing lots of blurred frustration at the moment - need a bigger lens and a steadier hand!
