Well, so far I've found the batteries to behave a little strange. I was using the video the other day and it told me they were about to give up the ghost. So I turned the camera off and headed home. Yet back home I switched the camera back on and the display read three full bars again?? Anyway, cheers for the Ebay link. They are miles cheaper than I thought.

No pics posted yet. I've just been messing about with it as yet. It has considerably more features than my other compact (a Nikon with many years of good service), so there is much to fathom out. The macro on it is very pleasing too.

Never mind about the welders glass. You could always use it to view the next eclipse! I bought the camera the other day and am well impressed. It's great for videoing the kids too.

Not bad, ta! Looking forward to some better weather though.
Just found an incredible trainer on Exercise TV called Violet Zaki, and I've been practising "kick butt" cardio. Such a lot of fun.
Otherwise work, work, work.

Oh i should have thought of that,yes i have a few on Flickr, TBH most of them are a bit rubbish, i have only had my first DSLR just over a year and am self teaching looking back at some of my shots that i thought were brilliant actually are not hahaa! i think you start getting critical of yourself when you get more experienced don't you! :) Have you got a link for yours? mine is Flickr: SuperSweedie's Photostream not great though eek.. you are right about the talent out there,amazing,I love the pics on the National Geographic site (although they make me depressed lol )they are outstanding!

Hi Lee, Funny you should ask about a website, I am sort of mid-way into designing one at the moment, it is taking a little longer than i thought though,partly due to work and family commitments and partly due to me being an indecisive ditherer! :) lol i need a bit of kick up the backside sometimes hahaa! what about you have you got your own website or the like?
