Thanks Tracey. Hoping for a white Christmas as we've had snow in Oct, Nov AND Dec so far but not looking good at the moment!
Yep, would be good to share some of our wildlife delights if/when you're next here!

A highland WAB meet would be lovely:) Hope you see more Red squirrels. Seamus knows a huge amount re local wildlife in your area. The weather is suppose to be really cold next week, just when it can't get any worse it looks like it's about to!:) I hope you do manage to get a photo of a Red squirrel:)

Hi Tracey, will have to try and get some photos of the squirrels sometime. I think eveything and his dog's lashed themselves to the trees the last week or so, it's not stopped for days!
When/if the weather improves would be good to get together for a wab meet somethime :)

Hi Andy, good news re Red squirrel, I didn't see any when I was up, but I expect they had lashed themselves to a tree, because of the strong winds:D :D
Such a shame I didn't meet you and Seamus when I was up, what with you in Kinlochleven and Seaumus in Ballachullish we could have had a highland WAB meet, next time!:)

Hi Tracey, yep the weather has been pretty awfull this week! Seems to be nothing but rain here. Saw my first red squirrel this morning! We have recently moved here, got here back in July. Long story but I lived in Hertfordshire and my other half lived in Surrey. I moved in with her last november, then we moved to Tain in NE scotland in February, then finally brought our house in Kinlochleven. Been a bit of an upheaval and now we have a German Shepherd puppy to contend with too! Would love to see adders, I did look for them when we lived in Tain but didn't see any. Scenary here is VERY special and it's a dream come true to be able to move here :)

Hi Highlander71, just got back last night from Caolasnacon, stunning area, but diabolical weather unfortunately. Saw four ravens from the caravan I was staying in. There are feral goats in the mountains surrounding Kinlochleven. I read somewhere that there are water voles in some highland areas, but I don't know where about. Seamus might know! Have you recently moved to Kinlochleven? I envy you and Seamus, because the scenery is beyond stunning, it takes my breath away every time I'm up in your neck of the woods. Oh, adders are sometimes seen around Kinlochleven. Hope you are enjoying this site, it's pretty special:)

Hi Tracy, i'm new here as you probably know. I'm a friend of Seamus and live just up the loch from him in Kinlochleven. Am hoping he has some secret wildlife spots he wants to share! Any good places you may know of?
