As you say and more ...... Since the fracas at the beg of the hol I have not been answering my phone to mam - I check the voicemail in case its an emergency like she's locked herself out of the house - tho there are neighbours she would go to who would alert me to that one. Its pointless answering and wasting time telling her when I'm going to pick her up as a few mins later she will phone and ask again so I write it in here diary (which she doesn;'t read) and leave notices (doesn't read any of those either) and am just trying to get on with my life but it is getting to me - the rate at which things crop up and jostle for attention is really annoying - and I am ignoring what I can't get to do and trying to deal with stuff in a prioritised way but I am pretty fed up its true. I don't know how much more of my life I want to waste looking after her and thats the bottom line .......

Awwh thanks Tracey! I've barely been on here since I've come home - the minute I got back I was overwhelmed with jobs and then it was Ian's days off and off out we went - haven't had time to spit out as the saying goes! Actually the campervan breakdown couldn't have come at a better time - it was easy to get home it just took a long time ......... Its not the clutch but the master cylinder - and the bottom part of the steering column (yes it went wrong in two places almost simultaneously and neither connected in any way too each other ......) We are looking at £300 for parts .... but a new clutch woulde have been considerably more - so lucky again in a twisted way!!!!! Sounds like we are coping with the same thing with our mums ............ Pxx

As for second husbands - well mine has turned out to be the best thing since sliced bread! Perhaps you should hire a van and show husband what he's missing? Its not to everyones taste tho - but I could get in mine and just take off for weeks without a plan - maybe at some point this might still come within my grasp ......... I still haven't packed so today is the day - also more shopping for mam as she has already got stuck into the stuff I bought for the next 2 weeks ....... honestly!!!! I give up!!!! Pxxxx

Yes the accupuncture and shiatso help a great deal - I was rally ready to go yesterday - the couple of days before that my back and now my right shoulder were singing and dancing - fortunately it sort of hits a stage where you think you can;'t stand it any longer then it all slowly calms down again. Of course I haven't been helping by letting myself get to 15 stone which I vowed I never would and I've carried on after xmas eating 'gluggy' afters and two spoons sugar in my coffee and getting absolutely out of control - again .....

Yep van hoovered this morning before going for my accupuncture app ....... now I'm flatter than a pancake after 'the pins and massage' (read torture!) now all I have too do is actually gather stuff together and ram it into bags and boxes and then husband can make it all disappear into the old camper - the floor in the house is littered with items to go - when its all gone and been tucked away you wonder what you're taking and where it is ............ love it! Actually I'm getting into the hol mood now finally .............

Thank you yes I found the pm early today - but not found this till evening: today has run away with me and I still haven't hoovered the camper - it wouldn't be the first time its gone to the Cairngorms with sand in from the isles still! Glad you're ok - I was quite worried before! Well hopefully I will come back from the 'gorms' with a tale and a pic or two ......... capercaille - I'd really like a 'capper' this year - oh please - I promise to be good - will someone grant my wish ...... maybe they will be easier to see in all this snow ........ heh! heh! Thats evil laughter ........ maybe there will be no-where for them big turkeys to hide this year ??????!!!! Oh well - I'll take me and my dreams off to bed and think about using the hoover first thing tomorrow ..................
