- That's a real shame i bet there was some brilliant views from up there as well.
I was surprised to see it inland although the rspb site says it's happening more often.
LOL your right they do look like they should be on a washing line :o)
You should come down one year for the pony round up it's like something from the wild west.
The stallion's get pretty nasty & start kicking & fighting although it's great to see so many running across the moors at the same time.
LOL i'm sure they won't be that bad, i got the 400D at the start of the year but still not sure what all the buttons do although it's good fun just getting out & using it.
Have you seen this thread http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/fo...ice-sheet.html if you ask eeyore i'm sure he will send you the sheets there very good.
So when's the next munro climb taking place?
:o) - Fantastic glad the weather was good for you, did you get any pics ?
Saturday i saw over 150 Red Deer, 1 Roe Buck, 3 Foxes, 1 Hare, a few baby frogs, Rabbits, Exmoor Ponies, Buzzards, Kestrels & lots of other birds.
There was lots of different Fungi in the woods as well, but best of all was on my way home when i saw my first ever Cormorant.
At first i wasn't sure what it was because it was so far away but when i looked through my binoculars i could see it sat on the river bank with it's wings out :o)
At that point i wished i had a bigger lens,i expected it to fly away as soon as i got out of my car but he stayed long enough for me to grab a couple of shots.
On Sunday i saw again over 150 Red Deer, 1 Fox, Rabbits, Exmoor Ponies, Buzzards, Kestrels & lots of other birds.
The highlight though was seeing one of the biggest stags i've seen this year.

LOL i think it's safe to say your going to have to think of something for us to guess next ;o)
Excellent i hope the weather is better than last time, let me know how it goes.
Sounds like we are going to have rain down here although i'm still going to get up on the moors as i haven't been up there for a while now.
:o) - Hi Tracey
How are you? Sounds like you had an excellent night glad the weather was good.
Lol i know what you mean there bark can be a bit eerie especially that time of night.
Good to see that your boy is interested in the wildlife he must have loved seeing & hearing all of that.
I went out myself last night but it was too wet really, although i did see a fox.
My brothers got my car going again :o) hopefully nothing else will go wrong, especially with the deer rut about to start.
I better go & see how the 20 questions thread is going speak soon
:o) - Its Crohns, had it for 20yrs. Just lately I have been loosing lots of weight I had two ops and it looks like its back. Got this examination tomorrow to see what's going on they may decide on an op...But I'm not sure I will go down that root yet.
