    Not a clue about fungi on Skye Tim but I reckon that where there are woods there are fungi, and there won't be a lot of people picking them, so you should see plenty.

    Hi Tim, I do occasionally get across to Gisburn forest, and as you say, it is one of those places that can be very worthwhile. (Last time I was there I left my walking stick in the bird hide at Stocks Res. Needless to say, when I remembered it an hour later and walked back, it had gone). I dare say that I'll be making a couple of fungi hunting visits there within the next few months. Regards, Mike.

    I'm fine and like yourself just waiting for the fungi to appear. Also waiting on the football season kicking off as I really miss it.

    I watched the game Tim and yes, the better team won but Preston can only get better next year. Alan Irvine will know who he wants to sign for next season and hopefully they will go up automatically.
