Hi Jane, do Melitta like Campanula sp.? I haven't seen any to my knowledge, I found a pic of one which is possible in my area, Melitta leporina on Fabaceae but I have those too. Nico knows his bees...

I have had more Megachile hatch lately from the second pot, still a couple to go. I got pics of one emerging recently!

Hi Jane! It's been hot and rainless here today, loads of bees! I had two pots in a greenhouse with 7 Megachile willughbiella pupae in each, I found them when tipping them out earlier in spring so put them back near the surface. Later I put them outside by the greenhouse, one hatched ages ago but I was getting worried about the rest. Today I checked and 6 of 7 in one pot have gone! I've got loads around Campanula species. The other pot was probably later, one is looking very plump. Andrena bicolor has increased numbers too! :)) Janet
